I grew up in South Salem in the days of carefree youth, unaccounted for all day, riding our bikes with the wind in our hair, no helmets, all the way to Squash’s for the candy and comic books they were known for back then. I went to Wooster School in Danbury, then this that and the other thing, and now I’ve come full circle and live here in Ridgefield not 3 miles from my beloved Wooster School! I’ve had/cared for/befriended/rescued/played with/genuinely liked dogs all of my life. I didn’t have my very own dogs until adulthood but our various family and various friends and various neighbors always had various dogs that were invariably my friends…and both of my grandfathers had trusty dogs by their sides (and oddly enough, goats, on the hills of northern Italy and on the plains of Utah). I’m playful, perceptive, sensitive, responsible, authoritative. Dogs have always seemed to trust me to take care of them in whatever way they need. Your dog will be safe and sound with me. Recent experience includes the fact that I’m the aunt of little Chili. I taught him to fetch and bring back…to my actual hand…out of pure laziness! And now we toss things all the time; Chili is tireless. I also reinforced his one lesson with a trainer to heel…and he actually tries to heel for me! I’m kind of proud of all he’s learned from me about life and nature and even compromise. I look forward to meeting your dog and taking good care of him or her too! My rating is only in the high 80s because I had an awful time with a bad bad cell phone and found it hard to reply to anybody for a couple of different days so I think that made my rating go down a little bit. But I have a new phone and I assure you that I will always be reachable!
