If you are in need of an active, compassionate, reliable animal lover to look after your precious pet for a day, weekend, or even for an outing at the park, look no “fur”ther! My name is Alivia and I fully admit, I have an addiction to animals and loving on them. Although my husband and I do not currently have any pets of our own, I have always grown up with pets around in the house. 5 kitties, and a Schnauzer named Ruby, to be exact. Growing up in Washington state, my brother and I would also help out family friends by looking after their pets for a little side money. There were also times where we had the opportunity to help a stray in the neighborhood get adopted or help save injured creatures like birds and bunnies. Coming from the Northwest, I thoroughly enjoy the outdoors and am always down for a good walk or hike in nature, especially with dogs. While I have a huge heart for animals, I also have a passion for children and their education. The last few years I have worked as an elementary educator in both Kindergarten and 3rd grade. Being a teacher means I have summers off which is a wonderful time for us educators to have flexible side jobs such as this.
