Temporarily I have moved from Harrisburg, PA to Santa Clara due to my husbands job. I wanted to continue my Rover account while in Cali in hopes of being able to help any dog owner in the area. My second job as a teenager was working at a dog kennel. I always loved dogs and my family made a point to always have a dog at home. In my opinion dogs are the best pets to have! I always tell my husband that I would love to have a lot of land so I can adopt and raise as many dogs a possible. As of now we have two dogs, Woobie who is a 13 year old Cocker Spaniel who adopted from my best friends family when he was 8 years old and we also have Lola, who is a mixed breed (possible 6 year old Black Lab and Miniature Pinscher). They both are extremely lovable dogs but have completely different personalities. Woobie makes a good blanket with all his soft fur. While Lola is a good alarm clock. My husband and I enjoy taking them for hikes, walks, runs and even just snuggling with them on the couch. Being around different breeds of dogs throughout my life has helped me identify certain characteristics and temperaments they can have. This has helped greatly when it comes time to watch a family or friends dog, It helps me to identify a plan of care based off the dogs personality. Not every dog is the same and they deserve to be treated based off their own individual personalities just like a human-being. You can feel at ease that your dog will be in some good hands and will most likely be spoiled if I watch him/her.
