Pet care experience
Warm and loving house in downtown Vancouver. Have a very small dog of my own that loves other dogs. Small doggy door to back yard, completely fenced in. I love animals and have been volunteering at the Oregon Humane Society for the past two years. Since I was 18 I dog sat for friends and family at their homes and now I have my own home, so I love the extra company. I would love to have more dogs, but financially cant have more. Why I love dog sitting As far back as I can remember I have always been a dog lover. When I was 10 I got bit in the face by a dog and I didn't want the dog to get yelled at, so I tried to run away. I ended up needing 6 stitches, but the dog was safe. Meet my pets No other pets at this time.. About my yard My backyard is completely fenced. Mostly grass with a brick patio. shortest fenced area is the gate at 4' high. My experience administering medication I don't have too much experience with this, but can learn if someone shows me.

Alissa did a great job watching our 2 small dogs! She has a great setup with hardwood floors, a big fenced-in backed yard, and a doggy door so they can go in and out on their own. Even better is her dog was willing to play with our puppy so he was good and tired when we picked him up. I highly recommend Alissa for your pets!
Alissa was very easy to communicate with, did a great job staying in touch while we were on vacation and was super flexible! Our dog came home healthy and happy, will definitely ask Alissa to dog sit again, thank you!

There are three things I have learned now dog sitting this year that I need to ask before the stay is booked... 1. Is your dog on flea medication? 2. Is your dog at all aggressive in any way to other dogs/people? 3. Does your dog like to try to escape?
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks I have two spots I go... One is a completely fenced dog park, that is HUGE! Another is a Disc Golf Course, this is my dogs favorite spot. She gets scared sometimes at the dog park and I end up carrying her around, while the other dog/dogs run. I like to do whatever is best for both dogs. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Your dog could sleep on the couch or if you have a bed them, they could sleep in my room. If they are a small dog, I would not mind having them sleep on the bed. Time I'll spend with your dog I work a 9 hour day and come home straight from work to walk my dog. If I know I am dog sitting, I wont make any other plans.
