Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs since I was little and I’m happy to be around all pets! My top “strength” would be patience - when puppy teeth hurt or there’s an endless amount of energy. I currently have a 20 week old puppy (golden shepherd) that has a lot of energy! I can practice basic training with your puppy, help exercise energetic pups, or hang out with your couch potato. I have two cats too, so I can adapt to your changes. I’m happy to bring my puppy along on a walk or dog play date, or leave him home and have one-on-one time with your pup.

Alissa did a great job taking care of my pup for the weekend at the last minute. She was prompt in her responses and was very professional. Simba loved hanging out with her and my house was exactly as I left it when I came home. Will definitely book with her again in the future!

I have a large fenced in yard and a puppy to keep your dog company, if that’s something that would work for you. I have space indoors as well, to keep dogs separated or to have a secluded nap. I spend a good amount of time on the deck, so that I can accomplish work and also allow lots of play time.

A typical day
I have lots of mental stimulation games! I’m about 1/2 mile away from the Barnum Dog park and typically I walk my dog around the block and take him to the dog park. I try to go when there aren’t as many dogs so that he won’t be over stimulated.

Availability
I’m working from home and have a flexible schedule. My breaks fluctuate weekly and I would work best for someone who has a range of time they would want me to visit. I usually take time for lunch (between 11 and 1), as well as a morning and afternoon walk break.
