I worked with Alissa for just one month, and the results have been truly transformative for my puppy, cat and I. When I started to work with Alissa, I thought it was hopeless that I would ever be able to have my dog and cat in the same room without loosing my hearing. My puppy would also bark for 5 minutes straight when a new person came to the house, and walks were a bear.... My hearing was not going to last for long. Alissa quickly helped me identify a few simple training tools that were effective in days. It's not easy work to get a puppy to adjust to a new worldview (the one in which she wasn't going to run the show and ruin my hearing), but Alissa was very encouraging and supportive for me to stick with the new rules- and viola! just days later, my puppy was transforming into a more tolerable pet! In a few weeks we were having dinner with the cat and dog in the same room (and enjoying dinner!). Alissa isn't a magic cure to fix your pet- BUT she will equip you to do the work needed to help your dog learn and react to you and the world around it in a calm and appropriate manner. I highly recommend Alissa's balanced approach to dog training. And - I would absolutely trust her with care of my pet (of any sort)! She immediately showed great care and kindness toward my puppy- wanting to understand the root cause of her alarm (barking) and how to most effectively correct it quickly and clearly. Don't hesitate to hire her!!
