Pet care experience
I am a licensed vet tech who loves pet sitting on the side! Everyday I work with dogs and cats of all kind, and understand that they all have unique needs. In addition to meeting your pets basic needs, I can also provide at home medical care for special cases - whether that be a diabetic pet who needs their insulin, providing fluids at home, or just administering their everyday medication. I have endless love for what I do and the animals I care for, my passion for animal care doesn’t end at my job. Whether you have a crazy energetic puppy who requires a lot of exercise, or a sweet senior cat/dog who just needs a companion and care taker, I can happily provide that. Animals are my life and I will treat yours like my very own fur baby!!

Alison watched our pups while we were in Riverhead getting married over the weekend, and she was incredible! She is so sweet and kind and our dogs warmed up to her right away. She was always super quick to respond through the whole reservation process on Rover and sent us a bunch of photos when we were missing our babies. She is very responsible and left everything clean and orderly. It also gave us peace of mind knowing she’s a vet tech. I would recommend her to anyone!
Alison was amazing with my two babies. She cared for them, gave them attention, was patient with me and my anxiety about leaving them for the first time. Alison is very responsible and communicative. We all love her. Will be booking again for sure.
Alison is an amazing pet sitter. She’s always readily available when it comes to my fur baby and she always shows up full of love. I appreciate the help she has given me more than she’ll ever know. It’s also an added bonus that she’s educated in veterinary nursing & always makes me feel at ease knowing my baby is safe with her. I don’t leave my dog with just anyone and Alison is definitely the #1 exception.

Before I dog-sit I find it extremely important to know what type of personality your dog has. Some dogs are very nervous or attached to their owners, and having a new person taking care of them can be stressful. I find that it's a good idea to meet your dog (s) prior to the actual dog sitting dates so that they are comfortable around me.
A typical day
I always love taking my dogs for hikes and walks on the beach! My ideal day with your dog would be a nice walk to a nearby park where we can run and play.

I currently work full time at an animal hospital but will always do my best to accommodate. My shift schedules vary, so we will have to make sure that I am a good fit for your pets needs!
