Alison was fantastic with our dog! She sent many picture updates and our puppy looked super happy and had lots of fun. Thank you very much for taking such a great care of Parish!

Alison is GReAt, as it turned out my senior dog was missing my son, his best buddy, so it made it a way more difficult situation, while I felt bad, alison kept us very informed and did a great job! She deserves a medal and a trophy ?, bestest job award!

Excellent! Alison is so great! Highly highly recommend her! I have never had anyone watch my dogs before besides my best friend so I was nervous but I definitely picked the right one! Alison was always in easy contact and sent pictures of the pups. She’s very loving caring of animals and understands them well.

Loving Care

I’ve had dogs my whole life and have cared for others’ dogs my whole adult life. I’ve been blessed to have my dogs live long lives, which has afforded me much experience in the care of elders and medical/health issues. I am certified through Dogsafe in Canine First Aid and CPR after a comprehensive, hands-on 8 hour class and testing. My canine partner, Griz, is sweet,
mellow, and gets along with everyone ...

What Alison would like to know about your dog

All breeds, sizes, and ages welcome. I would like to know all medical needs/issues, personality idiosyncrasies and preferences, and space preferences (e.g. does the dog or their people prefer kenneling when I’m not at home). If at all possible, we’ll do a meet and greet prior to first stays where I’ll cover these questions with you and take notes.

When Alison watches your pet

We go very frequently to both University Lake and Connors Bog off leash dog parks. We also frequent other trails and parks in and around Anchorage. I’m happy to leash walk as well. In the darker months, I would like dogs to come with a LED lighted collar or tag. I’d love to take your dog(s) to Alaska K9 Aquatics for their pre-paid appointments if they love the folks and facilities at the pool as much as I do! There is also plenty of yard-play to be had in our very large, fenced yard.
