Pet care experience
I have always had many animals. They are such innocent amazing creatures. Currently, my life is too demanding to full-time take care of a pet of my own, but I’d love to help out in any way possible. I’ve been dog sitting, mostly in others homes, and walking dogs for about 4 years now. I’ve taken care of big German pointers- to small shih tzus. I’ve had dogs, indoor and outdoor cats, ducks, turtles, you name it. I am very flexible and mostly work in the city of rochester with flexible hours. I work at a craft cocktail bar as well as a cosmetic shop in Rochester and am also a substitute teacher for Boces. I don’t see this as a job, more of a passion and hobby. I’d love to help in any way possible and spend time/ look after your furry ( or non-furry) love(s).

Alison stayed in our home for a week with our 2 pigs and 2 dogs. They all love seeing her and we know they’re safe when she is watching them. They can be quite messy, but she took care of everything. Our house was just as clean as the day we left! 10/10 we would have Alison take care of our babies anytime, we love her!
Alison has watched my dogs a few times, staying over each time for at least a week. They LOVE seeing her when she comes! She sends lots of pictures and always calls with any updates or questions. I have two dogs, a pit mix and a terrier, and they are a handful. I’ve always felt they are well taken care of and loved while we are gone. The dogs enjoy long walks and lots of snuggles while she stays with them. I highly recommend Alison as a dog sitter, and my dogs do too!
Alison stayed in our home with our Pointer for 5 days. She was responsive and easy to coordinate with via text. She sent pics with updates which we appreciated since this was the first time we left our dog. It was very clear that our dog liked her time with Alison... the dog was looking for her for a few days after we got home! I think Alison gave her lots of attention which is all our dog wants. Also, the house was just as we left it, nice and tidy.
I can’t thank Alison enough for looking after Quasar for 5 days. He can be a little difficult with strangers, but that didn’t prevent her from doing a great job. Besides caring for Quasar, she is professional and a phenomenal communicator. She would update me before I would even have a chance to about Quasar with pictures and anything he was doing. It was so reassuring to have her take care of him! I highly recommend her to anyone!
