Pet care experience
My husband and I both grew up with dogs and absolutely love them! They truly are human's best friend. We've been married for a handful of years now but even before that, we have been dating since we were 15 years old and although we may be a little biased, we believe that we make the ultimate team/support system! We are looking to love your pup while you're out of town. We value training, play, and chill time. We are experienced training puppies as well as caring for older dogs since we both grew up with multiple family dogs. Our house has a fully fenced-in backyard with a large covered patio and we live within walking distance to parks. Your dog will receive attention, care, and a whole lot of love with us. We enjoy spending weekends at home grilling in the backyard, playing some music while tossing a ball around with the pup, as well as taking time to recharge in our cozy basement. If you and your pup are up for it, we also enjoy the occasional hike and are happy to stop by a local dog park!

Alison and Max go above and beyond! They offered to have a meet and greet prior to the stay with their dog to accommodate my dog needing a slower introduction. Their dog, Otto is so well socialized which allowed my dog to feel comfortable and play at her own speed. Throughout the stay they sent updates, pictures and even worked on training! They brought out the doggy pool and treated my dog like their own. I don’t have enough good things to say!
Alison and Max were incredible. Great at communicating throughout the planning as well as when my dog was with them. They sent pictures of my dog throughout the weekend. They have a great setup for a dog to play with theirs as well (Otto is incredibly friendly). Will absolutely use them again when needed.
My dog had a wonderful time! During our meet and greet he seemed comfortable from the start, and he even seemed excited to return. I appreciated all of the photos and updates and how happy Albie seemed when I picked him up. I hope to book another stay here when the need arises.

I like to keep the pups together near me, whether I'm on the main floor of the house or in the basement or backyard. We'll all stay together for the majority! I monitor the pups while they play and am thoughtful in paying attention to any signs of behavior letting me know if they happen to need a break from each other. Training is big in this house, so if needed I'll correct my pup and yours by being consistent in what's kind, loving/gentle behavior. Our pup is generally great at matching the play style of yours - anything from battling to gentle playing.

Information Alison & Max K. would like to know about your pet
We would like to know if the dog is potty-trained, chews anything, and if the dog would be alright if left alone for up to 2 hours in the case that we needed to run an errand. We would also like to know if the dog is friendly, as we have a super friendly Black Lab mix. In addition, it would be great to know if there has ever been a history of aggressive signs when eating together or sharing bones/toys (our dog has not shown this behavior before so we usually lean towards trusting them together, but would love to know your pup's history so that we don't make inaccurate assumptions).
A typical day
A whole lot of backyard play-time, 30 minute walks, as well as a comfortable basement and covered patio in the backyard to relax. Our pup, Otto, will keep yours busy the whole time - he loves to play and socialize. While breaks can be few, Otto doesn't mind snuggling up and snoozing with your pup either! He'll share all of his bones/toys and beds around the house happily.

We like to travel around so we may have limited availability showing on our calendar, but Ali and our pup Otto stay at home during the weekdays for the most part so you're more than welcome to reach out, even if our calendar isn't showing as available. We'll let you know if we can be flexible for you!
