Pet care experience
I'm a responsible animal lover in my mid 30s. I grew up with cats, but have always loved dogs too! In addition to pet sitting with Rover, I have experience caring for the dogs, cats, and reptiles of friends and family members. My animal-loving partner also likes to join sometimes and get in on the pet cuddles and walks if that is ok with you. I'm an environmental scientist, work from home, and have a flexible schedule, so I am available to spend lots of time at your home with your pet! I'm very respectful of other people's spaces and will make sure to keep your home clean and safe while you are away. I enjoy jogging and going on long walks, especially with dogs! I am also able to give special care to older dogs or dogs with special needs (e.g. medicine, exercise, etc.)

Alison is a great dog sitter. She’s willing to spend lots of time hanging out with our dog giving cuddles, tossing ball and walking the neighborhood. Alison is flexible, honest, communicative, considerate, and leaves the dog and house better than how she found them :)
Alison was great at accommodating our schedule and communicating with us while we were away. Our dogs were walked and feed on schedule and completely relaxed by her calming presence. She was responsible for caring for our house, as well, and she did a great job!
We could not have had a better care taker! Leaving Alison with our dog and house gave us complete freedom to Be on our vacation without worries. We recommend her without any hesitation

I live in the Inner Richmond, and love going on walks in my neighborhood, Golden Gate Park, and the Presidio. I also love exploring new areas - I've watched dogs in Sebastapol, San Rafael, Sonoma, Orinda, and more - and love taking dogs on hikes if that's something they like to do! I also like to play tug, fetch, and have lots of snuggling!
