Pet care experience
I have taken care of or owned dogs since I was in my teens...in my 50's now. I have taken a few different dog training courses and know how to be the leader of the pack. I have also taken care of a farm for a week at a time, staying at the farm. I took care of horses donkeys, dogs and cats at a farm. All have varying health and dietary needs which I didn't have a problem with I am retired, so my availability is flexible. I can come to the owners home or the pet can come to mine. Either works for me. I am also available throughout the day for pop bys to let the pup out for a break Pets are my favorite "people " I give lots of love and attention to ALL pets. I like to walk and play with them as well, while adhering to set schedules and routines set by the owner. Dogs seem to feel comfortable with me. Dogs seem to know I am a dog person and a confident one! I like to bring the pet with me when I am our so they aren't alone. I spend almost all day every day with them

Alison effectively managed our 5 month old puppy and 20 year old cat, and sent us photos, too. She did a pre-visit so that we and the pets could meet her in advance. Alison also left the house clean and tidy!
I have no words to express my gratitude to Allison. We left Bruno, our cat, with her for 10 days during Christmas and were always in good communication, receiving photos of him, which gave us peace of mind, knowing that he was in great hands. I recommend Allison with no doubts.
I can't say enough good things about the care Alison gave our beloved pets and also us! We were away in Europe for 2 weeks, the first time that we had left our cat and dog for any length of time AND then had an unexpected trauma the day before we were to leave which meant we needed to adjust our 'start date' and felt uneasy about being away as a result. Alison gave us lots of updates throughout the time that we were away, pics of our girl tired out after long walks and plays. It gave us such peace of mind and we appreciate her more than she can know! Alison is also just a lovely human who took wonderful care of our home too. I have passed her information onto friends with a 10000% recommendation!
Alison was great and Iris enjoyed her stay with her. We feel very confident to leave Iris with Alison again on any future trips away from home.

A typical day
I am an outdoorsy person, so like to incorporate that with my pets. I enjoy hiking on our vast trails in the area. I camp, kayak, swim to list a few. I especially love throwing balls or sticks into the lakes. I also will swim with them. My pets are like my shadow. There isn't anywhere I don't take them, except to restaurants. I have even taken my dog to the drive-in

Availability
I'm retired, I have plenty of time to walk, play, feed and keep your pets company. I prefer smaller dogs as I have been knocked down and dragged! Don't need to break something while doggy sitting
