I love dogs and have owned, and pet sat for over 20 years. My 2 small dogs are very spoiled and enjoy a calm, relaxed life. If you have a small dog that likes to relax and sleep in a bed, you have the right person.

I have a pet friendly home with a small fenced in back area. Dogs are permitted on couch and beds. Lots of walks and dog toys. Will also brush dog daily.

I prefer dogs under 20 lbs that are sweet and friendly. I have experience with dogs that have separation anxiety, have been abused, have food aggression, and are very high-strung. My dog Dobey is a rescue that was abused. It took him a few months to trust us, and we patiently worked with him. You wait for the dog to be ready to interact with you and give them space when needed. Not all dogs want to be held and are content hanging out alone. My 2 dogs do not have food aggression and are very calm but will bark when they first meet a new dog.
A typical day
My days are usually spent around my spoiled dogs. We have lots of dog toys and puzzles. My little guys Loki loves to chase and play with other dogs.

Availability
I work from home, and my schedule is very flexible. I usually take my dogs for a long walk in the AM & PM, and short walks every 3 to 4 hours. My 2 dogs typically spend the day in my office watching me work. In the evening, they lay on the couch with me or play with their toys.
