Pet care experience
I have been professionally walking dogs for seven years. I grew up with Border Collies trained in Agility, Obedience, and Sheep Herding. As a member of the PBGVCA my dog, Gideon was nationally ranked 2nd in the United States. I trained in the sport of Agility for 6 years. I have experience handling dogs over 100 lbs and aggressive dogs. I worked at a local boarding Kennel for 8 months and encountered many dogs with a variety of personalities and issues. I am happy to work on leash manners, obedience, and socialization. I am willing to take your dog on longer walks or hikes. I walk rain or shine. Please let me know how I can customize my services to suit you and your dog best.
Reviews
Alison was the best with my boy, she was so accommodating and was so patient with him when he had a few accidents. I would definitely book her again and would recommend her to everyone. 1000/100.
Alison is an amazing dog sitter and lover of all animals! I was nervous to leave my dog alone for the weekend because this was the first time I used Rover and she made me feel so comfortable! As soon as I met her I trusted her to take care of my dog. Highly recommend!!!
Allison was very polite and let me know every step of what she was doing. I think she was a great person to bring in and will use her again in the future.
Alison is a long time animal lover. She is dependable and trustworthy. There is no need to worry as Alison will take very good care of your pet(s) when you are away.

I have experience with many different types of dogs and I am prepared to deal with any behavior issues that arise during my time with your dog. My home is secure and your dog will be supervised at all times. (I’m familiar with that because I have one who needs to be watched 24/7) Facilities: My husband and I live in an older style farm house on seven acres in the woods. (Very central Pennsylvania middle class) We often have a good amount of mud since it rains a lot and we are in a valley. (Free bath at the end of your pet’s stay, if needed) Besides our two dogs we have a small poultry flock as well as goats and a pony. All of these animals are secure behind fencing and are used to seeing dogs. I have never had issues with any dogs being boarded and our farm animals.

Information Alison K. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know what your dog's problem areas are - so that I can help work on any behavior issues. I hope to meet your dog before they are signed up for a stay at my home; to ensure a good fit. I want you to be comfortable with me, my dogs, and to feel good about where your pet is staying while you are away. **if your dog is bossy/dominant please know that they might not be the right fit for staying at my home. My young cattle dog mix (Remi) takes issue with that disposition and though I correct her when she is in the wrong; I want both your dog and my dog to be SAFE and happy…
A typical day
I take my dogs and the dogs that I am watching for short hikes at local parks, state game lands, hiking trails and to lakes. My dogs get out for short hikes with their doggy-friends (my regular dog walking clients) 3x a week rain or shine. I would love for your dog to come along. My horse farm job also allows me to bring my dogs (and your dogs if they are comfortable around them) It is good for dogs to have new experiences. At home on our farmette, your dog will get lots of potty breaks and playtimes in our large yard. (Supervised all the time and on leash for dogs for that aren’t reliable off leash) I have a dog that needs to be by my side all of the time and I will treat your dog the same.
