I have always been passionate about animals and animal care since childhood. I have 2+ years of experience volunteering at the Animal Welfare Society in Kennebunk where I walked dogs of all sizes, temperaments, activity levels and ages. I have volunteered at dog shelters in Peru and in Costa Rica. I have adopted and cared for various animals such a safe dogs, cats, rats, snakes, and bearded dragons. I am flexible, adaptable, conscientious, reliable, and mindful of my work.

Alison Is a very smart, caring, compassionate and reliable young woman. She has experience with dog walking working as a volunteer at the a AWS in Kennebunk while attending college. And has lived with and taken care of two cats, two dogs and a few rats. She sees to their needs by taking them to regular veterinarian appointments. She would be a good choice for walking your furry four legged pooch.

I am very mindful of safety and respect. I understand that you are trusting me with a part of your family and potentially welcoming me into your home. I currently only own an adopted cat at the moment since I work 30 hours and am living in an apartment in Portland that I let would be too small for a dog. I always want my pet to be happy and comfortable which is why at the moment I am only personally caring for a cat until I get a bigger space. My cat is indoor only to prevent illness or injury from cars, and is regularly taken to the vet for checkups and gets lots of play time.

I am currently working as a Behavioral Health Professional 30 hours a week. I travel a lot to my clients homes for work so I can easily swing by beforehand or after a shift for pet care.
