Hello! My name is Ali and I'm your one stop pet care provider! I currently have two dogs of my own, one is a collie/aussie mix named Bella that I've had for 6 years. She is my official emotional support animal and I handled all of her training personally; currently we are working on getting her Therapy certified! My second dog is a Husky mix named "Mischief" and she definitely lives up to her name. She is more excitable than Bella and there is never a dull moment when she's around. As for my experience: I worked for a no-kill animal shelter for 6 months (where I eventually adopted Bella) cleaning and caring for a variety of breeds of both dogs and cats. My passion for caring for animals stemmed from my experiences there, and seeing how people and animals can impact each others lives solidified my love for animals. My responsibilities included: cleaning pens daily, providing specialized meals, administering medications, trimming nails (dogs only), brushing/bathing, and general love and attention. I also helped found a volunteer dog walking program for volunteers to "check-out" a dog for the day and take them for group walks around the neighborhood. My undergraduate major was in psychology, and surprisingly enough (or not so surprising at all) I love studying behavior and pack mentality - especially with so many misconceptions about how a pack functions. So, on top of my previous experience I also research on my own time because I find it interesting. This is a huge benefit to you because I'm also adept at training and finding ways to make both the dog and the owners lives even better together! Ask me about what I can do for you! And now for the lovely cat people! I have also owned several cats over the years and enjoy their company! I have raised my own from kittens and had some great companions over time. I love spending time with my friend's cats and giving them enrichment when needed. Cats are more independent but you know those little guys just love to be around humans! I would love to take care of your furbaby while you are busy! They will love getting some extra play time in, and I offer cleaning services when coming by for a stop-in visit! Most importantly, I want you to know that I love all animals and I will treat them as my own whenever they are with me! I appreciate detailed instructions in order to serve you the best way possible!
