Hi! My family and I have recently moved from GA to Blacksburg, VA, in the summer of 2019. We loved our time in Georgia, but we are happy to be a part of the VT community and back in our home State. I have owned and cared for dogs all my life, as small as a Maltese to dogs as large as Pit Bulls and Rottweilers. I have experience working with and walking dogs that have high anxiety and are high energy. I am capable of caring for those canines that require to take daily medications. My home is pet friendly and pet safe, with a large yard to ensure safety and security for your beloved fur baby. I use pet and family safe cleaning chemicals that are adequately secured and out of reach from animals. My fur babies include a ten-month Chocolate Lab and a ten-year-old Maltipoo. All dogs must be pet friendly and child friendly, no exceptions. If you are requesting my services for a puppy, I will be happy to work with you on socializing your pup. Pups love staying here
We originally did a meet and greet, which worked out really well for our dogs. Our mixed poodle, Zoe, seemed to enjoy time with Alison's two dogs. The location of Alison's home was very convenient to our home. Zoe stayed at Alison's for one night, and Alison provided a picture of Zoe during her stay, which we truly appreciated. We liked that Zoe had lots of room to roam in the home and outside (fenced in back yard). Thank you Alison for taking good care of Zoe! We hope to use your services again in the future.
Awesome stay. My two husky dogs came home very tired after just a day stay with Alison.

A typical day
When your furbaby stays with me, they will enjoy a morning walk on Huckleberry Trail. If your dog has little legs or is an older dog, I will adjust our activity to accommodate their physical capabilities. We allow our dogs to sleep on the sofas, and I would not deprive your beloved animal that same privilege! Our yard is large! Your dog will surely love the space where we play catch and run around freely. They will be supervised outside at all times to ensure their safety. I encourage kennel training when boarding with me, along with bringing their favorite Lovey or Blanket. Every dog has specific dog food needs, and to avoid a shock to their digestive system, I would ask if you bring enough of their dog food to last during their stay.
