Pet care experience
I have never had a time in my life where we didn't own pets!!!! I grew up as the "neighborhood dog sitter" and could have worked full time as a kid with all of the requests I had ;) I am an animal lover through and through! Now at age 31, my husband and I currently have a pitbull mix, a cat and 6 chickens. I am a social worker and also used to volunteer with Pets on Wheels bringing a dog as a therapy animals to local juvenile detention centers. I also volunteer at a horse barn in my free time. I will love your animal as much as I love my own!!! I will care for animals of all kinds (except snakes!!!)

Alison is the best of the best! I probably left too many notes about our little boy and I was shocked to hear he didn’t bark when Alison came into our house. That is rare and shows how comfortable Olli is with Alison. It was best friends at first sight! Thank you so much Alison for taking care of our little guy!
Alison was absolutely amazing with my dogs!! She is an amazing walker and I highly recommend.

I will treat your pets just as I love and care for my own. We have a rescue dog who used to be a stray and he is known for trying to escape and do a joy lap around the neighborhood - that being said, I have learned how to be extra cautious to ensure the safety of all animals!!

I have never met a dog or cat that I didn't love and who didn't love me! Beforehand, I would love to know if there is anything that makes your pet nervous as well as the the common commands you use with them.
A typical day
I love a good neighborhood walk or a trip to the dog park. We also love taking our dog to swim in the local streams or for a hike- so I am willing to do whatever is best for your dog.

Availability
I work part time 3 days a week which leaves a lot of flexibility in my schedule to offer pet sitting during the other days and in the morning/evening. My husband works from home to let dogs who are boarding with us out to potty.
