I am a recent college graduate looking for some loving pets to hang out with! I love getting to play and interact with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and breeds! I'm currently not able to have a dog of my own full-time, but I'm eager to make sure other's dogs are cared for while you're away! I'm mostly in this to have some hanging out time with some sweet dogs, so I can be flexible on my rates if necessary. Currently my apartment doesn't allow dogs, but I will be moving to a property that does in July, and at that time I would love to start hosting clients! I have not professionally cared for pets, but I have been around dogs for most of my life. I have had a lot of babysitting experience with children of all ages, oftentimes in homes where there have been larger special-needs dogs, including puppies less than 1 year old. I also used to work as a home-based family caseworker, so I'm used to driving, transporting, and caring for other's precious cargo while juggling appointments! I had one dog growing up and assisted with his care (food, occasional oral medicine, bathroom breaks/walks, etc). More recently, I have been spending a lot of time with my friend's dogs, one an older Blue Heeler, the other a younger Blue Heeler and Fox Terrier mix. I've helped take them out, make sure they're properly fed and played with, as well as well-loved! I am fully prepared to maintain any training program or special rules you've implemented for your furry friend, as well as making sure they receive all the love and belly rubs they could want and need! I'm ready to take any instruction or specific directions for how you want your pet cared for - I understand that everyone has different rules for their pet and how important it is to maintain those rules. I do not currently have much in the way of dog training knowledge, but I plan on working with a friend who is a professional dog trainer to learn more basics! I have house-sat and taken care of friend's pets, so I am comfortable staying in other people's homes if that's something your pet requires!
