Pet care experience
Hi I’m Alison! I’m a student at Stirling Uni studying Environmental Geography and Outdoor Education. I’m a really into hiking, camping, running, rugby and outdoor swimming! When I’m not at University, I spend my time at home caring for the pets on my street: - Caring for a Collie, Beagle, Cockapoo, a pair of Jack Russels along with cats, small animals, fish and reptiles. - My duties included anything from full holiday cover, long walks, bathing, feeding and stays. - I really adore just sitting down with pets and spending quality time with them, as well as trying to make walks exciting and suited for each pet. In addition to this, I also occasionally work at a Game dealer in West Lothian which I am in very close contact with, this means - I have the ability to supply fresh Venison, Wild Boar and game bird cuts if needed for your pet. - Growing up with a country background, I’ve spent a lot of time working with Gun Dogs and working dogs. I have second hand experience with aiding in training and discipline with various dogs which I am happy to facilitate if you have any specific programmes or routines with your pet. I am more than happy to offer my services to my best ability for your pets.

Alison has been great with my English springer who she’s been seeing since she was 13 weeks. She’s been great at reinforcing the training we’ve asked her to and Brèagha comes home happy and content.
Ali has been my neighbour for many years and I have entrusted her with my beagle several times. She regularly takes her on walks and to super exciting places. Ali is always more than happy to take her for overnight stays and they watch movies together. There is never a dull moment with the two of them.
Alison is such a caring, outgoing friend who I have often trusted my own dog with! Blu, my flatcoat retriever, always comes back from his days out with Ali with what I can only describe as a doggy smile on his face. She has always taken Blu on new adventures whether its up the Pentlands or to a beach for a swim - where she often joins him in the sea!!! Without doubt Blu comes back with a cleaner and shinnier coat as Alison takes so much care of him, especially when he decides to roll in muddy puddles. In summary, Alison has a phenomenal temperament with dogs and will love them like they’re her own.
Alison watched my black lab Skye for me while I was on holiday and she done a terrific job! Skye loves long walks so Alison took her on hikes but modified her routes so if it got too much for Skye they could just go home. Alison sent me lots of updates about her whilst I was away and I found it very comforting. Would love to use her again!

- Long walks into the woodland and around the Ochills from Stirling. - Warm cuddles and films - I will happily take your dog out running with me if you and your pet are comfortable with doing so. - If weather and study permitting, I will happily take your pet on long hikes and outdoor activities with me as I enjoy spending so much of my time outdoors. - Shorter walks around town to local parks and along the river. - I am NOT a dog groomer of any sort however I will happily bathe, blow/towel dry and brush your pet if you would like me to or they have gotten muddy/ wet on a walk.
