My husband , Phil, and I love dogs, but unfortunately our current apartment doesn't allow them! We both grew up with dogs. My husband grew up with a dachshund and took very good care of her- walking, training and loving her. I have always enjoyed caring for dogs and not just my own. When I was younger I had a dog sitting/walking business in my neighborhood and would walk, feed and bathe 4 Alaskan husky dogs and 2 pugs. Growing up my family had a yellow lab, a pug and two chihuahuas. I got a lot of experience raising dogs with these four in my house. The lab was my dog I raised, potty trained, walked him daily, and as he got older learned to give him his medications. Our lab and pug lived a happy life, we just recently lost them both to old age. I miss them very much and I am excited and hoping that this will be an opportunity for my husband and I to love and care for others dogs and give us our much needed dose of dog time! We would love to care for your dogs and we are happy to play, feed, give medications, walk, cuddle - or just provide a loving presence while you are away, as well as provide any additional house-sitting chores you may need!
