Ever since I started taking care of pups, I knew that it was just my destiny to provide for them however I could. Being a dog sitter really is a dream come true for me! It’s just so wonderful being able to provide the love and care necessary for a pooch to thrive in the world. Not only do I get to look after cuddly pups, but I love being able to give back to the community by providing owners with peace of mind while they’re away from their best friends. Although I’ve been a lifelong dog lover, my experience with pups doesn’t end there! I have over 5 years of dog sitting experience, and it’s been nothing but amazing. I love getting to watch over furry friends and they have taught me so much during my time with them. I’ve learned how individualized their needs can be, and that every pup needs to be tended to differently. Plus, I’ve found some secret scratching spots along the way! My house is chock full of puppy love. I have two dogs of my own: Sophie and Ike. Sophie is a Shih Tzu/Maltese mix and Ike is a Chocolate Lab. They are two of the friendliest pups in the whole world and can’t wait to have new friends over to the house! Your pooch will always have a playmate, no matter what! My husband is a pilot, so he’s only home every few days or so, but has been a dog lover his whole life as well. I am a full-time dog sitter, which means that I’ll be spending 100$ of my time with your pup. I’m a great fit for dogs that are used to having a human presence around them during the day (or could benefit from that!). When your pup is under my care, my number one goal is to provide you and your pooch with a sense of comfort and safety. To me, the best way to do that is through excellent communication. It starts before the stay, by getting as much information as I can about you, your pooch, and your care expectations. That way, I can start designing your dog’s dream stay as early as possible! When your pup is with me, you can expect regular updates with accompanying pictures, so you can see just how much fun your pup and I are having together! I’m happy to keep owners up-to-date on anything from feeding times to exercise to behaviors.
