Growing up my family always had dogs, large and small. Over time we began to house sit for other dogs as well. Many family friends, would trust me to watch their dogs, and they knew I would provide them with the attention they deserved. I tried to be accommodating, I would stay at their house, or have the dog come to mine. Whatever was easiest for the owner. I wanted them to trust their dog was in a safe environment. Not only that, I tried to ensure that the dogs schedule was altered as little as possible so as they were not as stressed.
