COVID-19 update: I am fully vaccinated and happy to follow any additional precautions your family is taking during this time. I have 10+ years experience pet sitting (both boarding and house visits) and love animals. Some of my regular clients in my home state included a pure bred lhasa apso(Crickett), yellow & black lab duo (Ruby and Gus), terrier mix from a puppy mill (Sarah), and a collie mix with a nipping habit (Darlene). Now that I'm in Minneapolis, I would love to continue providing quality pet care to those in the area. In addition to pet sitting, I also volunteered with the shelter Secondhand Hounds as a walker and doing pet intake. Growing up, my family took in a stray Blue Heeler, Sparky, and later adopted a yellow lab, Hershey. I also have my own pup, Naga, a young Bernese Mountain Dog. She loves all critters and would be happy to play with your pup, but if your dog is more of a lone wolf that’s totally okay too! Naga loves staying at her grandparents house. I have experience with: - Administering medicine - Handling two large dogs at a time - Aging dogs who need shorter walks and/or special care - Dogs that are scared of strangers - Mixed pet households (dog + cat + guinea pig + fish)

I always want the dogs I sit to feel safe and protected in their environment. I also have a pre-sitting checklist to make sure I can start off on the right foot with your pup. I’m happy to do a meet and greet ahead of time as well. I know what it is like to be away from your pet, so I send pictures and updates everyday. I also want to respect your home, so you can focus on giving your pet all the loves when you come home!

I'd love to know your dog's typical feeding schedule, average walk distance, comfort around other people, and any other quirks you think I should know. I love all dogs, but have a soft spot for huskies, berners, germans, and mixes with floppy ears.
A typical day
It all depends on your dog! I'd love to walk them along the river or take them on a run if they have extra energy to burn/are used to it. I love hiking with dogs if it’s appropriate for their age/health.
