I have had several dogs growing up - Dachshunds, Labs, Beagles, Jack Russells. I absolutely adore dogs and would LOVE to dog sit yours. I am a very reliable, dependable gal who will make sure your doggy has a great time! Also, I do well with scheduling since I used to teach piano on my own. I know what it is like to have clients. It takes flexibility and responsibility which are two traits I have. When I moved here from home two years ago, I had to leave my sweet pup I had grown up with. Luckily through Rover, I found a great way to meet people living in DC and also love and care for their amazing dogs! Your furry friend will have the best time staying with me!

I've left Watson with Alicyn multiple times and I've always had wonderful experiences. She's responsive to texts, sends pictures, and flexible about pick up/drop off times.
Alicyn did a great job with our slightly anxious dog, and slightly anxious dog parents who were leaving him with a pet sitter for the first time! She was great about communicating and sending lots of pictures. We felt better knowing Rusty was well taken care of.
Alicyn was great with my Nala! As soon as we arrived at Alicyn's home, my Nala instantly took to her and ran up the steps of her home after giving Alicyn a few kisses and greetings. Alicyn was really warm to both me and Nala. She sent pictures often enough-not too often but not too little either! I was glad to see my Nala snuggling and happy. I'll definitely book with Alicyn again :)

A typical day
If an owner/dog has a specific walk routine or park, I am more than willing to go there. There are also several parks near by house that I usually use for walks and playtime. I am a very active person so I can run, walk, throw toys, pet, and cuddle. Whatever the dog is up for!
