I am an avid animal lover, who grew up in rural Texas. We had cows, horses, chickens, dogs, cats, and even a rabbit. I have developed such a love and appreciation for animals and can assure you that your pet will be in capable hands. During their stay, your pet will be treated like my own including frequent belly scratches, walks to the park, trips to the dog park and lounging while watching TV. We will have such a good time relaxing on the patio and people-watching. My dog is a 12-lb Shih Tzu mix, who has gotten a little older in age. He still has some spunk and can be playful, but is mostly laidback and chill. Your pet will need to be comfortable around him and, if you would like, we can arrange a meet and greet prior to drop off to ensure fit.
