Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 6 years old. I’ve been involved in every aspect of animal care since then including training, walking, bathing, high needs medical care(Administering meds, subcutaneous fluids, etc.). I love all animals and treat my pets like family! I also understand how stressful new situations can be on pets and will strive to keep your pet on a similar routine! In addition to my own dog and 2 cats, I also foster puppies and kittens through Desiderata Rescue, a rescue out of Oklahoma helping to get animals out of their high-kill shelters.

It was our aussies first time away from family for an extended period of time and Alicia took great care of her! She sent photos and videos often and was easy to communicate with. We would be very comfortable leaving our girl with her family again ?

Alicia was amazing with my puppy. He came home happy and in good health. During the stay Alicia sent multiple photos and updates which gave me the peace of mind. This was my first time leaving my puppy in someone else’s care and first time using Rover. Alicia was great and I’ll book with her again.

I have a fully fenced backyard accessible by dog door. I have 1 friendly dog and 2 cats to keep your pet company. I can easily crate your pet, put them into their own room (for cats) or let them free roam. Animals are allowed on the furniture.

A typical day
We live right next to great hiking trails and I take my dog on daily walks along the trails! I can also adapt additional playtime like fetch etc to accommodate what you pup is used to. Also my dog Trig loves to play with other animals and will keep them active and entertained all day!

Availability
I currently work from home and will most likely be that way for the next 4-5 months. I also have a dog door installed so animals have free access to the fenced backyard. Flexible on schedule.
