Pet care experience
I come from a dog-loving family and grew up with two large Airedale terriers. One is very energetic and tends to gallop on walks. I also have experience caring for highly energized golden retrievers, French bulldogs, dachshunds, rat terriers, Shih tzu-poodles, and more! Before moving to Manhattan I traveled a lot for school and often stayed with other dog families. I would regularly play with these pups and take them on long walks and hikes. I am a recent graduate with a medical background, so if there is ever an emergency with a dog I would be able to recognize/stabilize. My availability will vary, but for the next couple of months I am very available on most days. Although I haven’t been able to have my own pup after school, I would love to care for yours!

Alicia was wonderful with my dog. On occasion, Alicia would watch my dog, Zeus, while we were away. I always feel guilty leaving Zeus but I knew that he was in great hands with Alicia. She was great with him from the start which gave me a great peace of mind. I would highly recommend Alicia to anyone looking for a caring person to watch their dogs.
Alicia lived with me during her clinical rotations. She is sweet, genuine and truly will care for your pet with respect. I have a 1 year old french bulldog (Lucci) and she was a blessing to have around, Lucci loved her!! I often worked overtime between 10-12 hours daily and felt guilty for leaving him for so long. Without hesitation (or me evening having to ask) Alicia would come home from her day and take my little one for a walk, potty breaks and have play time with him. He loved having her around and she took excellent care of him for me when I could not be home. Lucci was very happy for her care and I would recommend her to anyone!
Alicia frequently helped take care of my small breed dog. She was caring, responsible, and reliable. She fed and medicated my dog while watching her as well as took her on frequent walks. She even updated me multiple times so I could see my dog was doing well! My dog seemed to love her company and she was a knowledgeable and responsible caregiver. I am sure Alicia would be great with every dog she is to care for!
I asked Alicia if she could walk my puppy Layla when I was called in for an emergency at work. While I was at work, Alicia had sent me numerous pictures and updates of Layla. Usually Layla is a very cautious pup, and needs to warm up to strangers. Layla took well to Alicia, and was even happy to see her next time I asked for a walk! I would definitely recommend Alicia as a walker!
