I have lived my entire life with a dog by my side and would not have it any other way. Growing up with german shepherds, I was taught from an early age how to care for a large breed with a variety of behaviors. Ever since, I have cared for many breeds, all with unique personalities. I have also worked with small mammals, reptiles, invertebrates, and birds. I currently have two dogs, Sandy and Otis, who travel with me to every destination they are permitted. We love hiking, dog parks, and the beach. Of course I spoil my dogs and treat them like my children, but I also understand their behavior and health from a scientific perspective. I have a degree in Marine Biology which has provided me with tools and opportunities to understand a wide variety of animal anatomy and behavior. I apply this knowledge when caring for dogs and other types of animals. I understand that some dogs have complicated personalities and I am willing to work with these animals. I'm currently a work from home graduate student in Biology with a flexible schedule which ensures attentive care for your dog(s). I offer running, hiking, and walking with your dog(s) along with in home care and check-ins. If they need a bath after all the fun, no problem. I will love and care for your dog(s) as if they were my own. Bring on the fun!
