Experienced Veterinary Technician

Pet care experience

Hello! My name's Alicia and I'm here to help give your fur babies the attention and care they need while you're away from home! I've been a vet tech for 10 years so I am experienced handling all types and sizes of critters, know emergency CPR, can administer injectable medications such as insulin, and can alert you if I notice any possible health concerns. I specialize in boarding pets with medical needs such as diabetes and am able to administer medications on a precise schedule. I can also provide some basic grooming services! I'm a high energy person willing to take your dogs on fast paced walks (or a leisurely stroll, depending on their needs and preferences). My goal is to make both you and your pet feel comfortable, happy and satisfied. I can also send you updates and pictures of your babies while you're away!

Alicia is an excellent caregiver and manager. I have worked with Alicia at the same clinic for about 3 years. She is not only knowledgeable about veterinary medicine but is a highly caring person. I'm glad to call her my manager and, most notably, a mentor. She is exceptionally caring and patient with all our client's pets and strives to provide excellent care. Alicia is great and offers premium care for all patients, but most importantly, she is fantastic at administrating all types of medications. Not only do I trust Alicia with my pets but with my own life.

Alicia takes fantastic care of my two cats and is always so accommodating with their needs. Both of my boys are definitely a handful between their high energy/playful behavior and their need for prescription diets and medications, but Alicia has always gone above and beyond in caring for them and keeping me updated on how they’re doing while I’m away.

Alicia is absolutely amazing with animals, I’ve been working with her for over a year and I would definitely trust her with my fur babies!

Information Alicia T. would like to know about your pet

I specialize in pets with special needs that require regular medications/treatments. This can include diabetic pets, hyper-thyroid pets, pets recovering from a surgery, and/or pets that require a specialized diet. Please let me know if your pet has any medical conditions I need to be aware of.

A typical day

My neighborhood is peaceful and quite; the perfect place to take a leisurely stroll. I typically go for a walk around my block once in the morning and once in the evening and am happy to take a dog or two with me for that walk. I provide a more brief potty break in my back yard once around noon and once around bedtime as well (and will gladly accommodate pets that need additional walks). I own plenty of toys like tennis balls to play fetch, chew toys, and rope toys for tug-o-war. For kitties, I own a large cat tree adorned with toys and bedding and have lots of cozy spots throughout my house for the cats to get away to take a snooze. I'm a bit of a home-body so when I'm not working at the vet clinic, I typically spend my time at home spending time with the pets.
