My mother raised me around all kinds of dogs and cats! We have had dogs my enitre life and i can not live without them! I currently have 4 dogs myself. 3 chihuahuas, Minion(6), Margo(5), and Mouse(3). My husband has a begal german Shepard mix whos almost 2! In the past I jave had Doberman Pitchers, Minpins, basset hounds, muts, and a little bit of everyrhing with my familys dogs included! I was a volunteer for the Macon County Animal Shelter. in high school I would go every weekend to play with dogs and clean messes! Im a mom of 5 boys with a strong stomach so nothing bothers me. I learned how to help a mama have puppies, know alot about hydrocephalus from a puppy that Margo had woth her litter. Mouse is my special needs baby who is a 1.5lb Chihuahua who was actually born dead. After about 25 minutes of rubbing her chest and doing baby cpr she started breathing and my now 3 year old got attached, so of course we had to keep her. My dad has always had Dobies. Sasha, my first dobie, was epileptic and had to have medications 3 times a day. Weve also had dogs with hip problems, one that only had three legs, you name it. When i was 18 my husband and I actually rehabed a fight dog that someone got out of a back yard and couldnt keep. By the time he left us he LOVED my Chihuahuas and the kids. That was 2015. I have picked up dogs tied to the side of the road, my dads current lab mutt was the most recent. We LOVE animals so much i figured this is a good way to get my dog fix without my husband leaving me for getting to many pets!
