Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Alicia! I am a 25yo dog lover! I have 10 years experience taking care of all different sizes of dogs! Our family owns 5yo German Shepherd and I personally own a 2yo German Shepherd X that my partner and I adopted off a reserve in Northern Manitoba. I’m super comfortable with larger size breeds. I would love to help you out with your fur baby, whether it’s feeding, potty breaks, walks, daycare or sitting.

Alicia was wonderful! She came for a meet and greet before our drop in visit, sent us pictures of our pups, and ensured that they had lots of pets!
This is who you want for your beloved pets! This girl is beyond fantastic! Alicia house sat for us while we were away. Our dogs were so well cared for and loved Alicia. They got a 30 minute walk everyday and we received multiple daily updates which included pictures and videos. She gave us peace of mind that our dogs were in great hands. Upon our return home, our house was in the same condition we left it in. Alicia washed all the used linens so we could jump into bed after a long day of travel. I can’t recommend Alicia enough. She has a big heart, she’s honest and trustworthy and will love your pets like they were her own!
We had asked Alicia to do daily drop ins to check on our cat while we were away. We’d never met so she took the time to come out for a meet & greet which we thought was great right off the bat. While we were away, she dropped in as we had scheduled ahead of time and she’d send us pictures at each drop in visit. We were impressed with Alicia at our meet & greet and she didn’t disappoint. We could see that she was very caring with our pets and also a responsible & punctual young lady. We wouldn’t hesitate to have her care for our pets again.

I have references that can speak on my trustworthiness and reliability when taking care of their dogs and staying in their homes.I have clients that have trusted me with their 4month old puppies and 140lb doggos. Routines are important for our furbabies! Let me know your pups schedule and I will stick to it! I’d love to know your rules and hand signals/verbal cues for commands so I can stick to them (everyone is a little different). Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, allergies, or particular behaviours (good or bad) that I should know about! The more information the better!
A typical day
I love taking my pup and clients pups to nearby trails for a hike! I’m also happy to walk your pup in the neighborhood if that works best! I am a believer in positive reinforcement when it comes to training. I will help continue your training when I am with your dog. It’s all about consistency! I look forward to developing a bond with your dog!!

Availability
I work full time in Cochrane from 8am-5pm Monday to Friday. I have an hour lunch break where I can walk dogs or let them out for potty breaks. I am also available after 5pm. My weekends are available for house sitting, walks, and drop-in services. I look forward to spending my time with your pups!
