Hello! My name is Alicia. I am an experience dogwalker/sitter and I would love to car for your furbaby! I have spent over a decade with dogs of my own as well as dogsitting for my family member's dogs. I have experience with dogs of various sizes, ages and energy levels. I am very comfortable with animals. I currently cannot afford a pet so being a Rover dog sitter/walker is a great fit for me. I am a daycare teacher in Bloomfield from 7am-4pm M-F but I am flexible with my time before and after hours. Please consider me as a dogsitter/walker for your pet. Alicia was great! Replied quickly and was able to help right away. Sent me pictures while I was away, and monitored my pup's behavior to alert me of any changes.
Alicia is a kind and hard working individual. She commits fully to any project she takes on and is very dependable. She has taken care of my cat on a couple of occasions, some times at the last minute. She has always been easy to contact and gives good updates on behaviour and general information. I would definitely recommend her as a sitter.

A typical day
I would do some research or find recommendations for the most scenic, dog-friendly parks or paths nearby its home so to give the dog fresh air and a relaxed time outside, free of obstacles or dangers, but full of new things to discover. At home we could play fetch, tug of war, or whatever games or toys the dog enjoys. Of course, many of the activities will depend on the dog's temperament and specificlikes and dislikes. For instance, when I dogsit for my step-sister's dog, I run with the dog outside and take her to the dog park because she is high-energy. When I dogsit my sister-in-law's dog, I take the dog on long walks in the woods because he is a big hunter-breed and likes to challenging walks. When I cat-sit for my friend (testimonial in profile), I play and cuddle with the cat, because that's the kind of attention this particular cat likes. Every pet is different, and I am ready and willing to meet their needs.

Availability
I have flexibility before 7am and after 4pm M-F. Depending on location of your pet in relation to my work, I may even be able to provide drop ins on my lunch break. While my full time position is understandably my priority, my schedule outside is flexible and your furbaby is my priority outside work.
