HI! My name is Alicia and I live in Parkside Alexandria in Alexandria, VA. I unfortunately don't have my own but I absolutely LOVE dogs. I work as a sales representative in the DC,MD,VA area so I do not have normal office business hours. I can also stop by in the mornings or come home on my lunch breaks if I'm watching your dog in the morning or during the day. I grew up around Akita's, Golden's and St. Bernard's so I'm completely comfortable around all types of dogs, but my favorite is larger dogs that I can go on runs with! I am very easygoing and active, and love to go on walks and hikes. I have a fenced-in patio with large common area for many potty breaks. I also love dogs or cats who are cuddlers, and have experience with senior dogs and new puppies. Our house is very dog friendly, and dogs are welcome everywhere. I can't wait to meet you and to make your dog a part of our pack!

Alicia has been our go-to dog sitter for the last two years. She is a very sweet and loving individual who adores dogs and loves to be around them. Our dog, Braxton, is a 2 year old pup who has a ton of energy and loves to play and chase balls, so needs a lot of attention and exercise. Alicia takes him to the dog park to burn energy and plays with him in the house and backyard. Braxton is always excited to see her and looks forward to overnight visits at her house. She is extremely reliable and always feeds him and makes sure he has enough water and never leaves him alone for too long. She also sends us pictures and lets us know how they are doing when we are away. I would highly recommend her as a dog sitter!
Alicia is kind and loving and will take fantastic care of your pets! I have known Alicia for over 10 years and can confidently say that she epitomizes "tender loving care". She will be very tuned in to your pet's needs and more than enthusiastic to hang out with your pet and give them the same level of love while you are away! She has experience sitting multiple dogs while friends and family are away, and I know that my dog Lola adores her! Your pet will be in great hands with Alicia!

I would like to know if your dog chews, has incontinence, medical issues, jumps, does NOT like other dogs, or bites. These are not insurmountable traits, but please inform me. I will do our best to adjust to ensure your dogs' stay with me is enjoyable for both them and myself. If a crate is needed, please let me know. Although I may not use the crate, it gives them comfort if needed. I do not use the crate as punishment, but reward crate usage with a treat or peanut butter. If your dog chews, bring plenty of their toys. I will truly work with most traits, please be honest and open in discussing traits with me and suggesting ways to work around them. I do my best to have one dog or sibling pair (from the same family) at a time. However, sometimes this is not possible due to the owners travel delay, overlap in drop off/pick up time, emergencies, etc. When you book with me, I cannot guarantee your dog will be the only one - but I will sincerely try.
A typical day
Whenever I am hosting or walking dogs I try to plan our schedule and activities around whatever the dogs will enjoy, the more information I have previously the better. On the weekends we frequently take the dogs to dog parks, on long walks, hikes, and to various other puppy friendly activities.
