Pet care experience
Like many college students, the best part of my day is getting to interact with a dog, so when I am looking after one I give them a lot of love and attention. I love taking dogs for walks and will often go for multiple walks a day. I have had a lot of experience with dogs on strict medication schedules and, since my own dog is part German Shepherd, I feel confident that I can get most dogs to take their doses. I am very careful to follow the owner's instructions to keep the dog on their normal behavior and schedule. When the owner is out of town, I like to send them pictures of their pups to show that they are doing well.

It is good to know schedules for food and medication, what kind of training the dog has, emergency contact and vet information, locations for cleaning supplies, normal exercise routines, and anything else that might be relevant.
A typical day
I prefer to take dogs on walks around their neighborhoods but I like to switch up the routes to keep it interesting. I will do normal playing with dogs, like fetch and tug-of-war, in the house or yard (as appropriate for the weather and household).
