Pet care experience
As a child growing up we always had dogs. Since then I’ve pet sat for friends and family members. For many years I worked for a non profit dog rescue/adoption company. It was not easy seeing doggos in fear or learn of their history of neglect but it was very rewarding to give them endless love and affection while we found them their forever home.

Alicia is great! Reliable, respectful, took great care of our two dogs -one who is a 3.5 month old puppy requiring a lot of time and attention. I just knew they were in good hands when I left them under Alicia's care. Alicia also went above and beyond and at the last minute took the older dog to obedience school! This was not in our original booking but came up very last minute and Alicia stepped right up and took her to class. She is flexible and conscientious. Your pets will have great care and companionship with Alicia.
Alicia cared for our dog Whaler as well as house sat while we were traveling. She is reliable, personable, and truly loves animals. Before that she cared for our daughter - so we have great things to say about her! Happy to share more as needed.
Alicia treated my dogs as if they were her own. She walked the dogs weekly and did some overnights for a few years. She’s great!
Alicia has been a dog-sitter for us for many years. She is loving and responsible with our pet and reliable as we’ve entrusted her with various levels of responsibility (occasional or daily checkins / feedings / walking activities, to multi-day stays in our home). Thanks to Alicia, our dog (Bailey) can stay home, where she’s comfortable, when we go away.

What kind of treats and foods they are allowed to eat. (For example, my brother’s dog loves carrots.) If they do not get along well with other dogs/animals/people. If they usually take off if/when off leash. It would be helpful to know what their normal schedule/routine is at home. And of course any obvious dos/don’ts!
A typical day
Morning snuggles, breakfast and a walk/run. Afternoon play in the yard, treats and a nap. Dinner, an after dinner walk and of course more snuggles.

Availability
I work part time on a farm and nannying. I love being outside and exploring and would love to have some company doing so. I have a lot of time to go on walks and play.
