Hello, I'm Alicia. I've had pets in my life since I was 4 years old, so being a pet parent and lover is ingrained in me as a part of who I am. I grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits, frogs, lizards and rescued birds in the home, all of which I personally cared for. From an early age I truly enjoyed feeding, walking, watering, littering and nursing our pets. Maybe it's just the Virgo in me, but I find having pets in my life to be a true honor. I am blessed to be entrusted with caring for the innocent and beautiful souls that are our beloved furry family members. That may be cheesy to say, but it's true nonetheless! I love animals, and I love being of support to them in any way I can be. I'm here to help, so let's connect! ☺

I can’t say enough great things about Alicia. I trust her endlessly with our pets, and never have to worry when we are out of town. Alicia is careful, thoughtful, and so sweet to our many pets. She has fantastic communication and has made travel for us so smooth. Best pet caretaker ever!

Alicia was amazing! She took great care of my two dogs while I was away for the weekend...she was on time, sent detailed messages of how the dogs were after every visit, sent multiple pictures and even cleaned up a dish I had left out that had food on it so the house didn't smell when I got home. I highly, highly recommend her to anyone, especially to someone who has never done this and might be reserved about having a a stranger in your home to watch your pets!! I will definitely be using her again in the future

I've heard horror stories from my clients of other sitters not showing up for visits, arriving late, doing the bare minimum of food and water or engaging in otherwise dishonest and unprofessional activities. Rest assured that when you hire me as your sitter, you will receive a responsible, honest and professional sitter who truly cares about the well-being of your pet(s). I show up on time, I don't miss visits, and I make it my personal standard of care to ensure that each pet is as happy as they can be while you're away. Pet sitting is about so much more than just filling food and water bowls. Pet sitting is also about maintaining their usual schedule as much as possible and providing emotional and mental stimulus and support to keep their spirits up while you are away. Pet sitting is an all-encompassing caretaking position, not a quick "gig work" job, and I take it seriously.

A typical day
Nature. Nature. Nature. Hey, doggos, let's get fresh air in those lungs and sunshine on your nose! You're stuck inside all day against doggy nature, so you need to get out and about in the world where you're meant to be. Lots of positive mental and emotional stimuli await you in the world, so let's go get it together! P.S. If you're a couch potato, that's okay too. I'm great at belly rubs and am always down for some cuddles. ☺
