My name is Alicen (pronounced like "Alison") and I have never lived a day without a beloved animal in the house-- nor would I want to! When I was very young, it was my cat Sniffy and I against the world, until 2003 when my family adopted a rescue pup, Shawna, and put me in charge of her care. After a few months of twice daily walks, medicine delivered on-time, and lots of snuggles and fun, Shawna had transformed from a hairless, nervous wreck into a vibrant, and playful friend to everyone she met! Throughout my life, nothing has brought me more joy than bringing joy to pets! I love long walks, long snuggles, and endless games of fetch/string dangle -- whatever makes your furry friend happy!

Alicen did a great job taking care of my corgi puppy. She kept me updated with multiple texts and pictures. She walked her, played with her, and reinforced her training. I will definitely be requesting her in the future.

Alicen and I used to dog-sit and dog walk together. She’s responsible, caring towards all pets’ needs, and careful to remember specific pet instructions. She’s the best for jobs big and small!

Because of a negative experience I had in the past, I may bring my husband along with me the first time I visit your home. He is also a rover/wag walker and animal lover, but if you or your pet prefers, he can stay outside - just a minor safety precaution on my part!

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors to account for! I have had a lot of practice with giving medicine orally, and with special feeding needs, as well as special walking/leash training needs so I am happy to accommodate!
A typical day
I love to walk around Tower Grove and Forest park, but I'm happy to explore any neighborhood your pup prefers! I also love to explore new neighborhoods and play with toys (when appropriate of course!).

Availability
After leaving rover for a bit, I am now working part-time and ready to play with your pups again! My schedule is currently very flexible!
