I've been a dog owner for ~13 years, so I am familiar with walking, playing with, and caring for dogs. I also have experience dog-sitting/walking dogs for family friends and neighbors who are out of town, so I have no problem getting to know new dogs and love learning about each of their quirks and silly personalities!

When I walk dogs, I like to keep the leash at a short-medium length so that the dog has enough space to walk freely but won't wander off too far or into traffic. With permission from the owner, I also like to carry treats with me in case I need to distract the dog or he/she is just being a really good doggo!

Please let me know if your dog is shy or has issues with other dogs or humans! I would hate to make a dog feel anxious or stressed because I wasn't aware of their boundaries.
A typical day
I am still fairly new to the city, but I think going to any of the parks (Tompkins Square Park, Madison Square Park, etc.) or walking along the river sound like a good time!

I am currently attending school with a set schedule, so my weekly schedule is tight but predictable. I would be the most available in the late mornings/early afternoons on weekends and some weekdays.
