Note: I am great at training dogs and happy to do some training sessions with your pooch or puppy if that's something you're needing. Note: I've been traveling and working so have not been on Rover over the last year or so. My repeat score is low due to that. For me, there's nothing like watching a dog's eyes light up as you play with a favorite toy or find that sweet spot while petting them. I really love to connect with the dogs I meet and figure out their unique personalities. Finding what makes life rich for them brings a richness to my life also. I like to find that richness without spoiling them, of course. I'm light on the treats and don't let those pups practice unwanted behaviors no matter how cute they are! I've worked with dogs of all sizes, ages and conditions. I have experience with dogs who require medications. I've also worked with many rescues who have special behavioral considerations due to abuse or abandonment. Some examples of the dogs I've worked with are: - a 10 year old Keeshond who required medication in a pill form - a 1 year old Malamute who liked to play games while out walking - a 5 year old border collie who tried to bite younger men - an 11 year old Dachshund with trust/abandonment issues who snaps at strangers (he was a rescue who required dental surgery and special care for his spine for which I assisted his injury/surgery recovery) - a 7 year old Australian Kelpie who couldn't be pet with 2 hands on the head or he'd snap - a pair of 1 year old Golden Retrievers with the sweetness and bundles of energy you'd expect!
