We'll love your pups like our own!

Pet care experience

**Note: we are currently taking a break from Rover due to a personal medical reason. Thank you so much for your support this past year and we hope to be back soon!** Hi there! If you want your furbabies to be spoiled with treats, toys, and lots of play time in a pup paradise, then look no further! We love and have raised dogs of all different shapes, sizes, and breeds throughout our lives. Our two pups mean the world to us, and we know how stressful it can be to leave them behind. Why we are different: While under our care, we'll love your furbabies like our own, and we mean it. This is NOT a mass-boarding house: we only take in ONE furfamily at a time unless we know the pups really well, so your dogs will always be our top priority. They will have free access, including our 8 big dog beds spread throughout the house, and we don't crate unless you prefer it. We will spoil them with premium chews & treats, boxes of toys, and tons of play time so they will never be bored. If your pet tolerates it, we'll even provide daily grooming for free (teeth brushing, hair brushing, nail clipping, and paw cleaning). Home: We live in a single-family home with a fully fenced yard that has pet-safe turf installed. If your dogs like to play in water, we also have a inflatable dog pool that we put up on the weekends during hot summer months. Activities: We love to exercise dogs both physically and mentally. We have tons of food toys (e.g. treat dispensers, kongs, puzzles) that will keep them busy during the day, and we also play lots of games (e.g. tug, fetch, hide and seek, etc.) both indoors and outdoors. If your dogs are good walkers, we'll go on a ~30-45 min walk in the evenings and sometimes a longer hike on the weekends, weather and health permitting. Your pups will have a great time!

We recently had the pleasure of booking with Alice and Nathan to take care of our beloved fur baby, Bacon, during the Thanksgiving break, and we couldn't be more delighted with the experience. They went above and beyond to ensure Bacon felt loved, secure, and entertained throughout the entire stay. First and foremost, one of the standout qualities of our them was their attentiveness. From the moment we dropped Bacon off until the day we picked him up, it was evident that they were fully engaged and genuinely cared for his well-being. We received regular updates, including adorable photos and heartwarming messages, which truly eased any worries we might have had about leaving Bacon for an extended period. Speaking of worries, they demonstrated a commendable level of concern for Bacon's comfort and happiness. Knowing that our pup tends to be a bit anxious in new environments, they took the time to understand Bacon's unique needs and preferences. This made us feel confident that Bacon was in good hands and receiving the personalized care he deserved. The level of careful attention that they provided was impressive. They followed all the instructions we provided, from dietary needs to daily routines, ensuring that Bacon felt a sense of familiarity even in a new setting. It was evident that they took the responsibility seriously, and we appreciated the peace of mind that came with knowing Bacon was in such capable and caring hands. One delightful surprise was the array of toys they had prepared for Bacon. The selection was not only diverse but also well-suited to Bacon's preferences. It was clear that our sitter had gone the extra mile to make Bacon's stay enjoyable and distracting. The thoughtful inclusion of these toys not only kept Bacon entertained but also added an extra layer of comfort and homeliness to his temporary abode. Lastly, our sitter was incredibly helpful in facilitating a smooth drop-off and pick-up process. They were accommodating of our schedule and took the time to share valuable insights into Bacon's stay. The sitter's willingness to answer questions and provide updates showcased their commitment to open communication and ensuring that we, as pet parents, felt included in the experience. In conclusion, Alice and Nathan provided Bacon with a Thanksgiving break that exceeded our expectations. Their attentiveness, genuine concern, careful approach, provision of toys, and overall helpful demeanor made the entire experience positive for both us and Bacon. We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking not just a caregiver for their pet but a true animal enthusiast dedicated to creating a happy and stress-free environment.

Thank you so much to Alice & Nathan for watching our dog, Silas. They did an amazing job! From sending us lots of doggie updates and photos daily, to being very responsive, accommodating, trustworthy, and much more! I’m incredibly appreciative they were able to watch Silas for us and that they took such good care of him. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dog sitter!
