I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was 5 years old. I had a miniature schnauzer named Sammy when I was growing up and I took care of him for 13 years. I also had 2 maine coone cats named Peanut and Pepper which I took care of as well. I clipped their toenails, fed them medicine when they were sick, and maintained their coat. In the past, I've taken care of and walked my neighbors and friends' dogs/cats for about 7 years. The breed of dogs I've cared include a Labrador mix, Cockapoo, Maltese, Corgis, and other mix breeds. I have also volunteered at the SPCA back in my hometown in NY, feeding, walking, and looking after some of their puppies at the shelter during the holidays.

i know not much, but of two things i am certain: 1) alice is one of the most sensitive, caring, fun-filled dog-persons i've ever had the pleasure of knowing in my wee lil life thus far & 2) i will definitely be asking alice to sit my dogs for the rest of my wee lil life from here on out.
I could simply talk about how loving and caring Alice is as a human and why she would be great to care for dogs, but I think there are other qualities that are just as important, which Alice also embodies. She is extremely organized, diligent, and calm under pressure. She can handle any situation thrown at her with grace, and she’s extremely independent. Alice is never phased by chaos, she tackles it head on. These qualities plus her loving nature make her extremely fit to care for dogs and handle any situation thrown her way.
Alice is a tiny person with a kind, gentle, and caring soul with more love to give than anyone I know. She has been there for me in times of need, and she has been there when she didn’t have to be. I could not think of a better person to leave my family members with while I was gone
Alice is the most amazing dog caregiver I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. She has looked over my family’s dog, Nala, many times and I am beginning to think Nala likes Alice more than me! What’s not to like? Alice is kind, fun, and always responsible. She is the only person I trust to take care of my pup because she does more than just take care. Alice goes above and beyond at every opportunity, because of that I have found more than a responsible caregiver/dog sitter, I’ve found a friend and I know my dog feels the same way.

I live in an animal friendly apartment that has a park nearby. The park is about a 8 min walk from my place and is dog-friendly with an open field. I'm completely okay with the dog roaming wherever in my apartment including my bed. I also have a roommate who loves dogs and has experience taking care of dogs.

Information Alice K. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know if they are noisy as I do have neighbors next to me. However, it usually isn’t a problem! I don't have any breed preferences, as I believe all dogs are capable and deserving of love but I will say that with my body strength, I can not handle a big dog on my own.
A typical day
We will go on walks around my neighborhood which has a park right next to my apartment. If it's a high energy dog that needs more exercise, I will take it on runs! I also love to play with dogs in general so I will play fetch with him/her, chase around, and give it the extra love it needs.

Availability
I currently work from home and part-time on Saturdays from 7am-4pm. My schedule is very flexible currently so I will be home majority of the week/day to be able to take care/board of the pets!
