Hello, I am a long time dog lover and currently work part time at a kennel taking care of 3 working dogs and 4 rescues. We recently discovered that one of the rescues loves to swim, so I try to give him at least an hour a day to splash around. We have a new rescue at work that we have been trying to make more adoptable, so we are trying to teach him manners and basic commands. I have an 11 year old Maltese at home that loves to do tricks especially if he wants a treat. I personally don't mind furbabies on my furniture, but if you don't allow it I wont either. I do discourage bad manners in furbabies. They shouldn't growl at people on walks or jump up on them without being invited. If I am on a walk and your baby starts acting aggressive with anyone I will tug on the leash and tell them no firmly. For jumpers I usually totally ignore them if they are being hyper and jumping up on me. Once they are in a calm submissive state I reward them with affection and treats along with verbal Praise. I am available almost 24/7, so give me a call at the last minute if you have an emergency anytime day or night. I will provide love and snuggles you just bring the food.
