Hello pet pawrent! My name is Aliah. Thank you for considering me in your search for pet care. I recognize that pets are family, and I do everything in my power to capture and communicate about our time together so you have peace of mind while you're away. No matter a creature's shape, size, age, or ability, they will be loved and respected by me. I was raised on a large piece of rural property in the Rocky Mountains of CO, and have 10+ years of experience caring for animals (dogs, cats, horses, rats, guinea pigs, fish, birds and more) because of it. My approach to pet care is getting to know your pet's specific personality and preferences. This way, I can cater to their individual needs, making them as comfortable as possible.

Aliah has been prompt, very good at communicating, is so sweet with our doggie and wants to do what’s best for you and you dog! She takes her job seriously and wants to make sure she’s keeping all of the rules and walking manners consistent while she walks them. She is so sweet and very good at getting back to us!
Aliah was absolutely amazing. So communicative, responsible, and detail-oriented. I got daily photos and anecdotes while on my trip and loved it. I trust her so much with my cat, and I’m so grateful for her help!
Aliah is a wonderful care taker. She is kind and loving towards my dogs, while still upholding training boundaries. It is so comforting to know that Aliah is there to walk and care for my dogs when I can’t be there. She is responsible and listens intently when we review care instructions. Aliah is just the person I was looking for to help with my dogs.
Aliah was great! Our dogs are a lot to handle and she did an awesome job with them. The place was spotless when we got home.

In my opinion, homes are considered safe spaces, and I diligently maintain them. During house-sits, my goal is to leave your space like I was never there, but better! You'll never come home to a full trash, overflowing mailbox, dying plants, crumby countertops, empty water bowls or untidiness. During dog-walking & drop-ins, I attend to the details that make a difference: - I wipe paws after walks to prevent mud/dirt from coming into the house - I don't just clean out the litterbox, but sweep the area around them, too - If I notice a plant is a little dry, I'll contact you to ask if you want me to water it - If you get a package, I'll be sure to let you know/bring it in for you

I am open to all kinds of creatures, but please be honest and upfront about your pets' needs, and if applicable, behaviors, triggers, and fears. During our meet & greet, I'll ask for information about your pet's typical day (times they go outdoors, play, get fed, bedtimes, normal business schedule etc.) as well as allergies/sensitivities and emergency contacts. I also learn about them individually, for example, if they have a favorite toy or treat, use a specific harness, have a fear of thunder, or cannot be let off-leash. For longer stays, I typically request pet parents get me a written document (it doesn't need to be long or printed, it could be a photo of a note, an email, a shared Google doc etc) prior to the booked service with the information for me to reference. When I know what to expect, it is easier for me to provide a safe, enjoyable experience!
A typical day
Whether high-energy or laid back, your pets will have consistent exercise and feeding times, as well as lots of pampering and mental enrichment when they're under my care. Games like hide and seek or fetch, peanut butter in kongs, playtime with favorite toys, and visiting lots of outdoor spots are my go-tos! Additionally, if your pet needs some brushing or has a favorite snuggle or walking spot, be sure to let me know, I'll be more than happy to indulge them! The more you communicate your instructions and expectations in advance, the more I can do to ensure your pet is content.
