Hey y'all, My name is Alia! I am originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, but have lived in Ghent for over three years now. I graduated from ODU with a M.S.Ed. in Higher Education (did undergrad at ECU - go Pirates!). I love all kinds of pets huge or small, but mostly dogs :) I have two furry friends of my own, but they do not live with me. I have plenty of experience with dog-sitting, house-sitting, and childcare as I tend to do them all at once. I'm very playful, but I also enjoy cuddle time. I am athletic and don't mind driving to the nearest park for a quick run or taking your fur baby for a stroll around the neighborhood. I am flexible and am always willing to work something out. Please never hesitate to ask me any questions!

Outstanding! I will be rebooking for whenever i need a sitter. Alia communication was perfect! She sent me many pictures to keep my mind at ease. She was also very flexible and accommodating when it came to some last minute changes in my schedule. I know my dog had a good time with her! I always leave things better than I find it! During our play date meeting, I will ask many questions to ensure I have covered all security and safety measures. I also usually like to have access to cleaning supplies for potty mishaps, and general maintenance for extended bookings. When leaving, I triple check to ensure all doors are locked and usually alert you when I will be gone for more than a few hours. At the end of the stay, I provide pictures/videos of how left your place and where I left your keys.

I will need to know any special needs, medications, behavioral, or age considerations they may have in advance. This will not affect my ability to work with them or willingness to book with you, I just want to be prepared to provide a great service!
A typical day
There are plenty of dog parks in Ghent and other places to take your furry friend for a walk, however I do not go to dog parks unless requested. I love going to the beach, so I am more than happy to bring them along. I am also looking to start incorporating enrichment activities into extended home visits!
