Pet care experience
Other than having my own dog and cat, my family and I fostered dogs from high-kill shelters before being adopted. I have experience volunteering at a local animal shelter walking dogs and caring for cats as needed. I am currently applying for my Master's degree so I am returning to Rover for some extra work during my gap year. I do have another part time job but my hours are flexible. I am more than willing to chat and/or meet to see if I am a good fit for beloved pets.

Ali is awesome! She stayed in our home in Boca Raton for five days while we were on a cruise. Our mini Aussie just turned three, and has never not had one of us with her since I got her in Montana. When we met Ali, we both knew they would make a great pair, and we were right. She is a college student in a dorm at FAU, so her staying in our home was a perfect fit. She took pictures of Stormy and sent them to us while we were away. We never worried about Stormy’s being sad or anxious while we were gone. I think they both had a great time.
Ali has watched my 1 year old yellow lab on numerous occasions and I definitely recommend taking advantage of her services. I was amazed at how well she did taking care of our puppy since he can really be a handful but everytime we have had her watch him things have been perfect. If you need someone to watch your dog then Ali is the person to contact!

I have experience walking big, strong dogs, such as pit bulls. If you have a dog like this I would like to know if he/she bolts after seeing small animals, is good with other pets, and is overall a good walker because I'd like to be aware and prepared beforehand. Thank you!
A typical day
Depending on age and ability, I'd love to take your pet on long walks and even runs. I also genuinely love spending time with dogs or cats, so playing comes naturally.

Availability
I'm currently working part-time as a receptionist. I work Tuesday and Wednesday nights from 3pm-9pm and weekends from 9-2pm. Other than that, my schedule is open since I am able to work on my graduate applications from anywhere. Please, feel free to ask any questions!
