Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Ali and I have been using Rover to help people and their pups since 2017. I first started using Rover during my time as a grad student, but am now working full time. I work from home and have a fairly flexible schedule, so I love to spend my free time with all the furbabies! My history with dogs goes back about 6 years, as I was a dog walker prior to adopting my own dogs. My husband and I now live in West Henrietta with our 3 dogs (and cats!) who are always keeping us moving. We also foster dogs through a local rescue, so we’re used to always bringing in new friends! Our dogs love making new friends but I’m also open to keeping them separate if another dog isn’t the best personality fit for their play style. I love to run and be active, so I love a dog that can make my routines more fun- as well as a buddy to cuddle up with to chill out. We have a fenced in yard, so the dogs get plenty of exercise running around outside and playing fetch too :)

Ali was so welcoming and could tell Zeus was very happy when picking him after the day with his sitter.
Ali was so great with our dog, West! He had a great time playing with her crew and I received tons of pictures during our trip away. Ali made me feel very comfortable that West was in good hands. West even got to join Ali for a long run and he loved it :) I highly recommend Ali and will definitely have West stay there again!! Thanks again, Ali!!

We have a fenced yard, and 3 dogs of our own who love to meet new playmates. I prefer to watch crate trained dogs at our house since our dogs are crated, but at your house I’m fine with whatever your dog prefers :)

Let me know as much about your dog’s personality ahead of time as possible, as that will help me to gage how they’ll do with our dogs - I’m fine with having to separate the dogs and not have all 3 of ours out at the same time with another dog, but it’s always helpful to know what would make the best fit beforehand.
A typical day
We have a fantastic neighborhood for walking, so if your dog loves going for walks and runs then they can come with me any day! If not, we also love to hang out in the backyard and play fetch or play with the other dogs. The play usually continues when we’re inside until everyone tuckers out enough to nap!
