I am 32 years old and I've worked with dogs and cats ever since I was child. I grew up with cats but the majority of my family has dogs. Family and friends have trusted me throughout the years to look after their dogs/cats while they are away. I used to volunteer at the Animal Rescue League of Iowa when I lived in Des Moines and currently volunteer at the Iowa Farm Sanctuary frequently and know how to administer medication. I also worked at a Vet's office throughout high school. While I was in college, my roommate had a German Shepard who I helped train and take care of. Everyone close to me knows how much I love all types of animals (big and small dogs, cats, etc.). Some people say that I prefer animals over people! I would be able to handle any special care that your pet might need.
