As a child, I always grew up around dogs and cats; dogs as small as teacup yorkies, as large as great danes. As I got older, there was never a shortage of animals running around our house and my passion and love for animals continued to grow. While it started as watching and taking care of my friend's and family's pets as well as my own, when I become of age, I began volunteering at local animal shelters, such as KC Pet Project and Unleashed Rescue and Pet Adoption. At those centers, I walked, bathed, transported, clicker trained, and provided enrichment to both dogs and cats in the Kansas City area. I've learned to handle gentle and dainty animals as well as more rough and rowdy ones. I love dogs of all sizes and temperaments! Currently, my household includes my personal dog, and usually a foster or two. As of July 2016, the personal dog was added as a big, lovable puppy that I rescued from unfortunate living conditions. We've been close ever since. I consider my pets family and a big form of emotional support, so I would do the same with your animal and ensure a happy furry friend! I offer: • Dog Boarding: $25 per night. I'm comfortable taking care of dogs that are: small (1-15 lbs), medium (15-40 lbs), large (41-100 lbs). This will take place in my home. All dogs boarding will be introduced to my personal dog, Nova, to make sure they’ll hit it off! If your dog isn’t fond of other dogs, dogs will be separated to ensure a happy night. • House Sitting: $25 per night. I'm comfortable taking care of dogs who are: small (1-15 lbs), medium (15-40 lbs), large (41-100 lbs), giant (100+ lbs). This takes place in your home and your dog(s) will be my main focus! I enjoy this because it allows me to be introduced to many dogs with different personalities. Activities include walks around the area, visiting dog parks for socialization, playing games for mental enrichment, as well as visiting the local dog bakery for treats! • Drop-In Visits: $10 per visit. I'm comfortable taking care of dogs who are: small (1-15 lbs), medium (15-40 lbs), large (41-100 lbs), giant (100+ lbs). This takes place in your home. Visits are usually 30-60 minutes and gives your dog(s) the chance to stretch his/her legs, get fed, and get plenty of belly or scratches, whatever they like! • Doggy Day Care: $25 per day. I'm comfortable taking care of dogs that are: small (1-15 lbs), medium (15-40 lbs), large (41-100 lbs). This will take place in my home. All dogs in daycare will be introduced to my personal dog, Nova, to make sure they’ll hit it off! If your dog isn’t fond of other dogs, dogs will be separated to ensure a fun and happy experience for all parties! • Dog Walking: $10 per walk. I'm comfortable taking care of dogs who are: small (1-15 lbs), medium (15-40 lbs), large (41-100 lbs), giant (100+ lbs). If your dog doesn’t need constant care, this is the option for you! This gives your dog(s) the opportunity to stretch his and/or her legs and get fresh air during any time of the day!
