Important information I would like to know beforehand is as follows ; Has the dog been leash trained? In the event of passing another dog on a walk, is the pup friendly or should I be cautious? Any dietary restrictions, medical information, special requests/routines, and if your pup is friendly with cats are all questions I will ask prior to confirming a boarding or daycare request. Listed below are various clauses that may result in an additional fee during a boarding or daycare service. These are in place to help me provide the best care possible while still ensuring that my home and myself are safe. Property Damages : fee will be based situationally depending on what needs repaired. [ this is directed towards large repairs / broken items due to the dog and no other reason ] Carpet cleaning / accidents : due to a high volume of puppy boards, I will now be charging a fee if there is more than 1 accident on carpet. Unfortunately with this being a rental property, I do have to deep clean the carpets when these accidents occur and this can become pricey. The fee will be $10 per accident after the initial accident - you will be notified of this beforehand. Aggressive behavior : To keep myself and my pets safe, any signs of aggressive behavior that is not quickly or easily corrected will be immediately reported back to the owner. For any and all services I do require an emergency contact to be given at the time of drop off that is not yourself. In the event that a dog attempts to attack myself or my animals I will be charging a fee of $100 and the emergency contact will be required to come pick up your dog, unless discussed otherwise with myself. Withholding important care information does not benefit yourself or your pup for these services. I want to provide the best possible care and experience for all parties involved, and therefore these clauses have been set in place and each client has been informed of them prior to booking. All clients are required to list an emergency contact, as well as provide medical information and any known allergies or triggers prior to any requested service. When walking pups I prefer to go somewhere with lots of open space or trails, I typically choose a local park or development! I want to mentally and physically stimulate the pup for the best results, so letting them lead the way and stop along the walk as much as they want to sniff and explore is a major part. Depending on the dog, I will also bring a toy for when we find a perfect spot to play!
